L'Art de Vie in Dresden

We went here for brunch. Due to the Corona issue, not as a buffet. The dishes were served. Everything was perfect in terms of quality and taste. Very nice staff, very attentive and friendly. A star deduction for the background noise in the restaurant. Some noise protection measures should be taken here. Sometimes you don't understand your own word. A few ceiling sails could help here for little money. Otherwise, the restaurant can be recommended without reservation.

Modern kitchen and super tasty. The little tavern can be found in a small alley. You are welcomed by a young team that is super nice, but not always on the ball. We really liked the kitchen, the prices are measured. We would love to come back.

Brunch prepared with imagination and culinary art. Everything was very tasty and varied. Attentive and friendly service. Absolutely okay in terms of price. We would love to come back.

We were here for brunch today, very tasty and also well resolved with the current conditions. Unfortunately, the noise level was very high, so that orders were misunderstood and conversations at normal volume at our table were as good as impossible. But still a very cozy place.

Brunch at Corona times was solved great. The 3 "courses" are brought to the table. You can always ask for more and water and orange juice are always refilled. Super nice ambience in the courtyard!

Not a good price-performance ratio. We got two measly portions for lunch and then ordered a third, which was even measly. In terms of taste, it wasn't really good either. All the spices were missing and it just tasted weak - like nothing. We are by no means much eaters, but asking 6 € for 2-3 spoons of potato salad / pasta salad without flavor is cheeky. In addition: We are vegetarians and on the day in question there was food from the grill. However, we only wanted a salad - it wasn't topped up to a normal portion, it was really just the side dish for the meat from the grill - which we apparently paid for even though we didn't have it on our plate.

The breakfast was plentiful and enough to fill you up. The service was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is really great, in the back yard and nicely dignified. 1Star deduction is unfortunately available for the extremely long waiting time (50min.)

We were on July 19, 2020 for brunch in family with 8 people. The beginning was a bit tedious before the first drinks were there but then there was nothing to complain about. Nice service, great food and the warm portion in a pleasant little portion. But the dessert was awesome! In the end a delicious brunch 😋

We took only mains on a Friday evening, being the first guests. The staff was friendly and just quick enough. The salmon tasted good, the risotto that came with it lacked a bit of flavor. The duck breast came with a nice sauce and veggies, the duck itself was crispy from the outside, tasted well but it was slightly chewy from the inside.

We were having breakfast there today. It was just great. You sit there very nicely, away from the streets and pedestrian zone. The service was very friendly and helpful. I had the breakfast variation for one person. It was delicious. Many things are organic and from the area. The whole grain bread is baked there. And that was my absolute highlight. My wife had a Mediterranean scrambled egg, which was also very tasty. So we are enthusiastic about the ambience, the service and the food. We will come back soon.

We were here for brunch on a Sunday. Despite the current corona regulations, they coped well with individual plates / cake stands. Everything was nicely arranged, fresh and tasty! The service was also very good. We look forward to our next visit.

We enjoyed a brunch for 4 people. A very attentive and pleasant service. The food was very good and plentiful. Unfortunately it was too much for us, even after a break of 45 minutes. We would love to come back.

We have been coming here again and again since 2014. The location in the middle of Dresden is perfect. In summer it is nice on the terrace with a garden view and in winter we like to sit in the foyer of the theater. The service is always super friendly and attentive - even with extras - we don't drink alcohol, for example - and today we got a delicious elderberry lemonade instead of the frizzante. When eating, emphasis is placed on healthy and varied dishes and it is Mediterranean-inspired, which we really like. My husband loves the warm dishes with meat and I, as a vegetarian, love the delicious vegetable dishes. We would love to come back.

The food was well made, fresh and full of flavor and the staff were so friendly. They speak German as well as English amd made us feel at home.

I had a pleasant dinner in a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and served fast. The service was solid. They have a few but good wine options.

Great service

An incomparable place In the center, next to a theater and far from the madding crowd. You can choose between salads, roast potatoes, salmon burgers or pasta. A pleasure for all the senses

I've eaten a "Lachs Burger" there. Honestly, it was extremely dry and I wasn't even sure if it was actually made out of salmon. I mostly tasted the bread it was stretched with. It came with red beats, which was a horrible combination with the dry breaded patty. Also, I've ordered a cocktail. They've ran out of ice for the cocktail. No further comment needed, right? However, the service was nice. They have asked if we are satisfied with our food, and offered us a free drink (wine) .

The brunch is fabulous. Great cooking, variety of choice and quality ingredients.

Brunch was kinda perfect. Lots of different things to choose from. Good for vegetarians, too. Liked it a lot.

Good food, good wine. Apparently you often have to wait a little longer. The service is very nice and friendly.

Avoid at all cost. Waited one and a half hour for our food.
